Beverage Seminar and Presentation Guidelines
Walt Disney World® is committed to creating unique experiences and magical memories for our Guests. Storytelling and delivering a quality "show" are at the heart of everything we do. As a beverage participant, you will have the opportunity to be part of the show and your products will be showcased at seminars, presentations and specialty dining events. The following information should help you prepare for your event.
Audience: Approximately 100 Guests attend each event. Our Guests come from various backgrounds from amateurs to connoisseurs and everything in between.
Your role in the show: We expect that you will inspire and educate our Guests about your unique products. We recommend using power point presentations and any relevant images; an audio technician will be available to assist you during your seminar.
Flow of 45-minute Presentations
- Introduction of presenter–Title and affiliation with company
- History of company and production Region
- Philosophy of brand
- Presentation of beverages being served
Tasting: Given the time frame of your presentation, we suggest that you limit your tasting to three beverages. The Epcot® Events Team will create tasting mats, pour, hand out collateral, and set-up and break-down your event.
Question and Answer: Please allow a maximum of 15 minutes within your 45 minute presentation for Guests to ask questions.
Looking the part: To ensure that we put on a quality show, we request that all participants respect the Disney standard of professionalism and level of Guest Service. All presenters will be expected to adhere to the Disney Look, which does not include flip flops, shorts, or t-shirts. Please wear appropriate attire for your events. Additionally, language and seminar topics should be tasteful and cater to a broad audience.
